In November of '09 I had the opportunity to travel with Chris Johns of The Water to Wine Project to Tanzania, Africa. I went as a photographer to capture the devastating effects of consuming contaminated drinking water. I returned home to the U.S. as a voice for the people of Tanzania.
CALLED-TO-SERVE
We traveled daily with missionaries Elton and Barbara Cooke of Called to Serve Ministry, in and around Arusha, Tanzania. Chris and I witnessed first-hand how God is doing a mighty work with the poor through two of the most obedient and humble followers of Christ we've ever met. They have a genuine interest in the welfare of the poor and destitute of Africa and their hearts are contagious.
This prayer calendar was designed to unite people in prayer and as a fundraiser for Called to Serve. We are trying to raise $10,000 to help CTS continue their work in Africa. Every penny of your purchase will go directly to CTS, and every penny counts.
